On Monday, 15th February 2016, the students of Heritage Business School had the opportunity to interact with Prof. Rahul Sett, who is an Assistant Professor at the International University of Japan, Tokyo.
The interaction was a part of the Industry-Institute-Interface Program and the discussion started with Prof. Sett enumerating to the students on ‘Consumerisation In The Present Context As Opposed To The Conventional Approach’.
Prof. Sett is a BTech degree holder and is a Fellow (Ph.D) from IIM Ahmedabad. He has also been awarded with the Nehru Fulbright Scholarship for Post Doctoral Research and was a Faculty of IIM Kozhikode.

Their imagination and ideas have found a platform through the Entrepreneurship Week at Heritage Business School that started on 20th February and will go on till 27th February 2016. The event is being held in association with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) and the motto for the event is ‘Innovative Ideas for a Better World’.
The event was inaugurated on 20th February where Mr. Nitesh Sood, an Ex-student among other dignitaries who talked about their successful entrepreneurial journey. The students participated enthusiastically and have come up with numerous innovative ideas and plans that will be showcased in the coming days of the events. The event can play a big role in igniting the fire of entrepreneurial zeal in the students to make them the future leaders of great business prospects of India.
On 12th February 2016, the students of Heritage Business School had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Srjan Banerjee, who is the Deputy Manager – HR, of Skipper Limited.
The discussion started with Mr. Banerjee enlightening the students on the changing face and job responsibilities of an HRD professional in India. After that, he had a fruitful interactive session with the students during which they put across their multiple concerns and Mr. Banerjee addressed them to the students’ satisfaction.
The auditorium full of students listened with rapt attention and the session gave them many hints and tips on the changing face of corporate world.
Heritage Business School is proud to announce that two Start Up plans devised by two student teams of the Institute have been selected by the Institute of Public Enterprises, Hyderabad, which is a Government of India Company.
The event was Startupedia and it is a national level business plan platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their skills. The teams had presented their plans on 12th February 2016 at Hyderabad and tasted success while competing with other reputed Institutes like IBS Hyderabad, IIM Ranchi and 14 other similar B-Schools whose students were participating in this contest. Each team comprised of five students.
